Celebrating The Keep Flying Scholarship

“It takes a village to raise a child” is a proverb that means that an entire community of people must provide for and interact positively with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. This is precisely how the Keep Flying Scholarship has been a friend, sponsor, and community to all African Leaders in Aviation programs.

Today, we celebrate the Keep Flying Scholarship and thank them for their continued support as we change the narrative, one African youth at a time.

About The Keep Flying Scholarship

The Keep Flying Scholarship was created after 9/11 to offer an intermediate level flight scholarship.

Sponsors Deborah Hecker, Evelyne Tinkl, Christi Dobelli, Kathryn Busch, and Lisa Heller offer one $3,000 US domestic scholarship and a $3,000 international scholarship to an individual working on a fixed-wing aircraft instrument or multiengine rating or commercial or flight instructor certificate (CFI only).

Applications are made through www.wai.org
